For an unscheduled procedure initiated from the modality, the ordering steps take place after the exam has already been completed.
A mechanism must be provided where a user can link an item from the list of unreconciled PPSs to the list of pending orders.
The full workflow:
Exam is performed on the patient and MPPS messages are sent from modality to RIS. Exam is in completed status.
An order is created by a user in RIS
The PPS resulting from the MPPS messages and the new order are linked.
