About Data Windows

Data windows are customizable, dynamic forms used to enter patient-specific information in RIS.

Multiple data windows can be open at the same time. You move through the different data windows by clicking the data window tabs.

Data windows separate patient information into groups.

The elements in data window groups are called controls. Controls range in complexity from text-based controls (including text box and list box controls) to controls that are similar to spreadsheets (including data grid controls).
