Using Search Boxes

image\ebx_-1452093949.gifYou can search for information in data windows (for example, physicians, nurses, technologists, radiologists, or transcriptionists). To use the search, click the search button and a search window appears.

To use a typical search window:

  1. Enter the search criteria.

  2. Click Search.

  3. Select the person you are searching for in the list of results that appears in the lower half of the screen.

  4. Click OK.

Note: Search boxes accept asterisks (*) as a wildcard character. For example, if you want to search for people whose last names begin with Ro, you type ro* . If you type an asterisk before a letter in a search field, for example, *wi in the last name field, every entry with the letters wi appears in the lower half of the search window (Lewis, Twist, Winston).
