Each study has a default duration configured for the length of that exam. Study Level Warnings or alerts display to a scheduler when scheduling a particular study.
The naming convention for all studies is generally by body part, laterality (modality). For example: Hand, Right (XR); Hand, Left (XR); Hand, Bilateral (XR).
Procedure codes represent all of the 7,000 series procedure codes for Radiology.
All possible procedure codes for a particular study are assigned as default. This means all procedure codes display automatically when selecting a study from scheduling. The Technologist will remove (or add) the procedure codes.
A Study Group defines a group of like Studies.
There are many settings defined at this level:
Patients per time slot
Default studies
Possible statuses
Study group warnings
Default report templates
Standard normals
