About Peer Review

Exams that are flagged with the Needs Review status, display in the Peer Review Worklist. From here, the reviewing radiologist can access the Peer Review form and review the examination. The report and order information is presented in read-only format. The reviewer is given a Peer Review tab in order to rate the reviewee and make any relevant comments. Once the report is reviewed, its status changes and it is removed from the Peer Review Worklist.

If a report is assigned a Conflicted status, it is moved to the Conflicted Worklist. This gives a radiologist the ability to correct the findings and add an addendum to the report. Once the report has been addended, it can be moved out of conflicted status by changing it in the Peer Review form. The radiologist also has the ability to decline a review by selecting the appropriate status.
