Adding Unscheduled Procedures

Adds a new study and procedure to be reported separately. You can only add an exam that can be accomplished in the modality. For example, if you have a CT exam open you can only add another CT type exam.

1. Click New Study.

2. Select:

• Study Group Set

• Select the Study Group

• Select the Study

• Select the Procedure Code

3. Click OK.

4. A message appears asking if you want to document the exam now.  Click Yes to open a new documentation window with the new exam or click No to return to the original exam and the new exam appears on the worklist.
