Batch Moves

This lets you move multiple patient folders to a new location at the same time.

Add patient folders – creates a new row for data entry or sets focus to the blank row if one already exists.

Remove patient folders – removes any highlighted rows in the grid.

Clear patient folders – removes all the rows from the entry grid, leaving just a blank line and sets focus to the blank row.

Relocate selected folders – saves your work and clears all the rows in the grid. You assign a new current location from the new location combo box. If the new location is flagged as permanent, the home location is updated with the new location.

Close screen – closes the screen if there is nothing to save. If there are any items in the grid, a message appears asking if you want to save your changes.

Folders radio buttons – determines which folders are moved

All Folders – all folders for the Patient ID are added to the list.

Single Folder – the focus is moved to the Folder Number column for entry of a single folder number.

Latest Folder – the highest numbered folder is added to the list.

New location - a list of patient folder locations. Select New Location from the new location box. The selected location appears at the top of the list.

Adding folders to the patient folder grid – The user scans or types in the patient ID. If the Single Folder radio button is selected, you need to scan or type in the folder number.
