The Film Manager tracks patient exams (film) through the radiology department. When folders are moved from one location to another, the new location is entered in the Film Management so the folder can be located for future retrieval. RIS tracks loans, returns, and relocations; and manages the moving of folder groups. You can track the exams in RIS using manual entry or using barcode scanning.
