Working with Film Management

Displays the folders and exams for the selected patient.  

• Each patient can have any number of patient folders

• Each patient folder can have any number of examination folders

• Each examination folder contains all the images for a given study

• Each patient folder can be temporarily located somewhere else

• New digital exams are automatically added to the most recent folder

Patient Folder band – these rows display patient folders. Click the plus (+) at the left side of a patient folder to show the hierarchal exam folders below each patient folder.

Exam Folder band – these rows appear after clicking the plus (+) beside the patient folder and displays the exams contained within the folder.

New button – lets you to add a new patient folder or a new archived exam folder.

Edit button – lets you modify an exam folder.

Delete button – lets you remove an empty patient folder. The folder must be empty.

Move Exam button – lets you move an exam to a different patient folder.

Loan button – lets you loan a folder or exam.

Return button – lets you indicate that a folder or exam has been returned.

Relocate button – lets you change the current location of a patient folder.
