Click Add
Patient
to
add a new patient into the workflow.
If the patient has an ID number, enter it in the dialog box and click OK, otherwise click Generate Temporary Patient ID button.
Enter the patient's contact information in the Patient Information section. Required fields have a yellow background.
Enter the patient's medical alerts in the Medical
Alerts section (if applicable).
Important: If the patient
has any known allergies, enter the allergy information now.
Select the allergy from the Allergy box and then enter the reaction to the allergy in the Reaction box.
If you want to add or edit a patient ID, you can do so at this time in the Patient ID section.
Click OK.
You can also create a new patient through the Create Order screen.
