Using Search Criteria

This area lets you set the criteria for searching for an available time slot.  

To view the search panel if it is hidden, click the at the right of the screen or press Ctrl+Alt+S.

Advanced Settings – select this check box to use the search criteria.

Date range selection – lets you select the earliest and latest dates for the appointment. To select the day, use the drop-down arrows to open a small calendar.

Day list – lets you select the days of the week to search. If you right-click a date, a short-cut menu appears letting you select morning, afternoon, or evening. Selecting one of these options will adjust the time preference with those hours for that day of the week.

Time preference – lets you select the earliest and latest times to search each day.

Hovering over each colored square displays the legend for the background color.

Search button – locates the earliest time slot available for the criteria selected. The search attempts to keep wait time between appointments to less than one hour. For series, the search attempts to schedule the studies in the order the series defines and within the time duration rules defined for the series.

Next button – locates the next available time slots.
