Working with Availability Exceptions

Lets you make a resource available, not available, reserved for clinic, closed for holiday, or other selections for a specified date range.

To create a new exception

  1. Click the Modality Availability Exceptions button on the navigation bar.

  2. Click Add.

  3. Select a start date and time for the exception.

  4. Select an end date and time for the exception.

  5. Select the modality from the list.

  6. Enter a reason for the closure.

  7. Select a New Availability indicating what action is being applied.

  8. Click OK.

To edit an exception

  1. Select the closure from the list.

  2. Click Edit.

  3. Make the modifications.

  4. Click OK.

To remove an exception

  1. Select the exception from the list.

  2. Click Delete.

  3. Click Yes when asked if you are sure you want to delete the closure, or click Cancel to return to the main screen.

Note: You can select multiple exceptions by holding Ctrl while selecting the rows to delete.

To reschedule appointments affected by exceptions

  1. Select an appointment row from the grid.

  2. Click Reschedule.

  3. Search for a new time slot by clicking Search.

  4. Click OK.
