Working with Resource Availability Exceptions

Lets you make a person available or not available for a specified date range.

To create a new exception

  1. Click the Resource Availability Exception icon on the navigation bar.

  2. Click Add.

  3. Select a start date and time for the exception.

  4. Select an end date and time for the exception.

  5. Select the resource from the list.

  6. Enter a reason.

  7. Select a New Availability indicating what action is being applied.

  8. Click Save.

To edit an exception

  1. Select the resource from the list.

  2. Click Edit.

  3. Make the modifications.

  4. Click Save.

To remove an exception

  1. Select the exception from the list.

  2. Click Delete.

  3. Click Yes when asked if you are sure you want to delete the exception, or click Cancel to return to the main screen.

Note: You can select multiple exceptions by holding Ctrl while selecting the rows to delete.

To reschedule appointments affected by exceptions

  1. Select an appointment row from the grid.

  2. Click Reschedule.

  3. Search for a new time slot by clicking Search.

  4. Click OK.
