RIS notifies you if patient information is missing or critical.
Note: You must fill in required information before advancing in a patient's workflow.
RIS warns you when a control contains information that is missing, incomplete,
or invalid. The warning appears as an icon
beside the control that requires attention. To display
the message, pause your mouse pointer over the icon. You cannot advance
through the RIS workflow if the required action is not met. The following
table describes some common messages in RIS.

You must fill in the control completely. Incomplete value controls can include telephone numbers. |

You must enter a value in the control. Incomplete value controls can include calendar controls. |
RIS alerts you when a patient is known to react to a contrast. The alert appears as an icon directly beside the control that requires attention. This icon appears on data window tabs and beside Contrast Reaction controls. If you hover your mouse pointer over the icon beside the control, you receive the following message: WARNING: Patient suffers from contrast reaction.
If a data window requires information but is not yet visited, RIS identifies it with an icon that is located on the data window's tab. You cannot advance through the RIS workflow if you do not enter the information in the data window.
