Select an exam in the worklist.
Click Diagnose or press Ctrl+D.
Select a template.
Select a standard answer.
Select any required autotext.
Enter the report contents or dictate the report.
Enter any screen captures.
Click:
Dictated to send the report to be transcribed
Next to move to the next exam without changing the status of the report
Sign to sign the report as complete
OK to close the report without changing the status
On hold – Select the check box to place the report on hold for an amount of time set by the system administrator. The report can be opened by other users, but it cannot be modified without clearing the check box.
Print Rules – determines whether to follow the rules selected in user preferences.
Radiologist Note – notifies you that the transcriptionist has left a note for you to review. You must read the note and clear the check box before you can sign the report.
